A GMR is a barcode generated by the GVMS system. This simplifies the customs entry process for accompanied and unaccompanied vehicles.
A lot of UK based hauliers are already setup to follow GVMS procedures however, if your haulier is EU based, they may ask traders for help.
Thankfully getting a GMR is quick and easy. GVMS enabled ports include Tilbury, Felixstowe, Teesport, Tyne, Harwich, Immingham, Hull and Liverpool however some ports and/or ferry companies are not fully set-up for GVMS. Please check UKGov list of GVMS Ports for more information.
Onboarding is quick and easy. We'll gather some information about your business to get you set-up.
Email your vehicle reg, port of exit, port of entry, date of exit and MRN's for ENS and either carnet or export.
We will issue your GMR barcode document within max. 4 hours.
If you are selected for inspection, you will be advised by your GMR however, we will also notify by email.
