Just need to move one or a few pallets then groupage or less than a trailer/truck load is the way to go. Timings differ depending on the service but this is ideal for UK shipments or shipments going to to Europe
Groupage – the art of grouping different shipments together and moving them in a single trailer. This is how most of your goods get to where they’re going, and best of all – it’s the cheapest mode of transport.
Groupage does have it’s down sides – time. Shipments between UK and Germany can take 5-7 days, Poland can be 7-10 days but this method is ideal is there is no rush or it’s planned well in advance.

You can choose from dedicated road transport or a part loaded van.
Part load is a term used to describe a load where there is may be only 2-3 customers shipments in a van or truck. This sits nicely inbetween groupage and dedicated/express shipments for time and cost.
Dedicated is the top tier premium road service. Like a Full HGV trailer , when we talk about “dedicated” it refers to a van or smaller truck just for your shipment. This is high cost, but fast and high control.
Loading a van or truck tends to be easier than a full trailer as most vans and smaller trucks have a tail lift but in saying that, it’s best to have a pallet truck on hand to manually move the pallets to the van or truck.
Send notice of goods incoming or outgoing along with the commercial invoice, packing list and any other relevant documents.
